Web design in Easley, SC, a railroad town that kept growing.
Easley was chartered in 1873 on the Atlanta and Charlotte Air Line Railway and grew into a textile town. The freight line to Pickens, known locally as the Pickens Doodle, ran until 2013. Its route is now the 7.5-mile Doodle Trail, with an Easley trailhead about half a mile from downtown.
Today Easley is the largest city in Pickens County, with 22,921 residents at the 2020 Census and what the Greater Easley Chamber calls a varied manufacturing base. Downtown has specialty shops, antique dealers, restaurants and an outdoor amphitheater, and US 123, Calhoun Memorial Highway, is lined with businesses on both sides through town.
The Easley chamber also founded the Powdersville Business Council, and it speaks of a single Easley-Powdersville business market. When Powdersville is where your customers come from, we plan the site to reach them as well. We work with Easley businesses from Taylors and come out to meet you at your place of business.
Hometown businesses with a county-wide reach.
If your customers come from across Pickens County, your site should say so plainly, and we’ll build it that way.
What Easley search results look like today.
Thin results are an opening
When we searched “web design Easley SC” from Easley in October 2026, most of page one was Facebook pages, directories and job listings. Try the same search for your own trade. If you see results that thin, a real, specific page about your Easley business has room to stand out.
Choose your radius on purpose
Some Easley businesses serve Greenville and some don’t. Set your Business Profile service area and any ad targeting to the places you’ll actually drive, and say the same on your site, so you aren’t paying for or chasing customers you’ll have to turn away.
Powdersville belongs on the map
The Greater Easley Chamber speaks of one Easley-Powdersville business market. If Powdersville customers matter to you, name Powdersville on your site and in your service area rather than hoping Google connects the two.
US 123 is how people arrive
For businesses along Calhoun Memorial Highway, the most useful line on your contact page may be how to turn in. Note the nearest cross street and which side of the highway you’re on.
