About Simpsonville

Web design in Simpsonville, SC, for a town with two front doors.

Simpsonville is named for Peter Simpson, who opened a blacksmith shop in 1838 where the Old Stage Road met the Cherokee Trail. The Greenville and Laurens Railroad arrived in the 1880s and turned the town into a cotton-processing center, and a working rail line still runs along Main Street today, past the clock tower built in 1986.

Downtown is in the middle of a makeover. In August 2026 the city broke ground on a project that removes the concrete islands on Main Street, turns College and Curtis streets into one-way pairs, and improves sidewalks and wayfinding. Construction like that changes how customers reach downtown shops for a while, which makes accurate hours and directions online more important than usual.

Simpsonville’s other front door is Fairview Road, just off I-385, which a 2022 Avison Young retail report called one of the busiest retail corridors in the Upstate. Add Heritage Park, where the CCNB Amphitheatre seats 15,000, and you have a town that draws customers from well beyond its limits. We build for that from Taylors, and we meet Simpsonville clients at their place of business.

Questions we get from Simpsonville

Straight answers.

Can I visit your office in Simpsonville?
We don’t have one there. Our operating base is Taylors, about half an hour from downtown Simpsonville, and Simpsonville is in our service area. We come to you instead: Simpsonville clients meet us in person at their place of business, and the build work happens from Taylors.
How should a downtown Simpsonville shop handle the Main Street construction online?
Keep your Google Business Profile hours current, put a short note on your site about parking and the best way in, and post whenever access changes. If you’d rather not manage that yourself, Google Business Profile management is $195 a month as an add-on.
Can a Fairview Road business compete with bigger brands in search?
In local results it can hold its own. Google’s local ranking looks at relevance, distance and prominence, and a nearby business with a complete Business Profile, real reviews and pages that match what people search for can outrank a bigger name. We work on those pieces; we don’t promise rankings.
Do you build sites for event and entertainment businesses?
Yes. We can build event calendars, ticket links and phone-friendly pages into a custom site, which starts at $2,995. If your busiest nights follow the Heritage Park schedule, we’ll plan the site around that calendar.
